Since Escoffier Catering first opened its kitchen doors in 1997, Annalize Sainsbury and her team have been pampering guests in lavish, French-inspired sophisticated (yet contemporary) style.

A key ingredient in the company’s success is that of consistent:

Quality - Escoffier prepares food of the highest quality that is made with only the freshest ingredients on offer. Not to mention the uninhibited use of different colours, tastes, flavours and textures in our flamboyant cooking.

Delivery – This is crucial to the success of any party, which is why we always serve in style and on time.

Presentation – We make a point of presenting our food in the most creative way possible - ensuring that it brings any cocktail table, buffet table or dining table to life. Clients can always expect something unusual and decadent. We love nothing more than using items with a sense of history and then combining the old with new contemporary pieces. But most importantly, it is our passion for food and appreciation of life that makes celebrating second nature to us.
This means that all our clients have to do is relax and enjoy our exquisite Escoffier style at weddings, big events, corporate gatherings, parties or intimate dinners for the likes of Nelson Mandela,
Oprah Winfrey, Prince Phillip and more.

Auguste Escoffier 1846-1935

Auguste Escoffier was France's pre-eminent chef in the early part of the 20th century. He was one of the most important leaders in the development of modern French cuisine and is a legendary figure among gourmets the world over. And given that the French press bestowed the title of "king of chefs and chef of kings” on Escoffier, it is only fitting that a company with a flair for the lavish and the exceptional should pay homage to this truly great man.
