TOP BILLING / Entertaining with Amor
Top Billing, one of South Africa’s leading lifestyle television shows, devoted a 16-page spread in its spin-off magazine to cover a truly exclusive Capetonian evening. Eight guests dined under the stars and watched the 1961 classic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Not only was Escoffier’s Annalize invited as a guest; she was also requested to embrace the challenge of catering for this glamorous, star-studded night. The event was hosted at the Bishopsgrace Guest House, which boasts breathtaking mountain views, lush manicured 
lawns, and in keeping with the movie - a retro classic theme. A theme that was embodied by the suitably thirst-quenching cocktails, the wholesome fusion of savoury and sweet tastes, and the stylistic décor. After a fair amount of chatting and much eating, the 
guests relaxed and watched the movie under a star-lit sky. Escoffier’s catering played a significant role in the success of this unforgettable night as invitees were spoiled by the dazzling array of cocktails, starters, mains and desserts
– including some traditional ‘golden oldies’ recipes. The magazine feature also included all the recipes that were carefully selected and used by Annalize.

skilled cohorts comfortably cater for both the smaller at-home intimate events or the lavish weddings and grand social events. Annalize is well known for her exceptional cordon bleu skills
and her ability to create an experience that goes beyond one’s imagination. There is no challenge too great or celebration too small for Escoffier Catering.

Annalize, together with other chefs and caterers, contributed to a culinary collection of mouth-watering dishes and
treats. The collection, called ‘Pasella Kook’, is a side-addition to the TV programme Pasella, which airs on SABC2.
